Gesu Church 🇺🇸

Located at 118 Northeast 2nd Street in downtown Miami, Gesu Church is Miami's oldest Catholic church, originally organized in 1896 as Holy Name Parish. When you visit this historic Roman Catholic site, added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1974, you step into a house of worship whose growth closely parallels the development of Miami itself.

Built on land donated by Henry Flagler, the present building's cornerstone was laid in 1920 and dedicated in 1925. Recently restored to its original appearance, the sanctuary features seating for 700 worshippers, plus room for 150 in the choir balcony.
