Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art 🇺🇸

Welcome to the Crow Museum of Asian Art, a dedicated treasure trove celebrating the rich arts and cultures of Asia right in the heart of Texas. Originating as a gift to Dallas from Trammell and Margaret Crow, this member of the Dallas Arts District displays historic and contemporary works from China, Japan, India, Korea, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and the Philippines. As you explore its three distinct galleries, you will encounter remarkable pieces spanning from 3500 B.C. to the modern era.

In Gallery I on the first floor, you can marvel at Japanese art alongside an adjacent garden and Lotus Shop. Moving up to Gallery II and the mezzanine, you will discover extraordinary Chinese artifacts, highlighted by an impressive collection of 18th-century Qing dynasty jades and delicate snuff bottles. Walk across the scenic glass Skybridge—which overlooks The Seated Daoist Deity fountain and neighboring landmarks—to enter Gallery III.

Here, you will behold captivating art from India and Southeast Asia, featuring authentic Indian gazebos and a massive Mughal wall suspended from the ceiling. With an additional campus location at the University of Texas at Dallas, it offers an inspiring, contemplative journey through Asian history.
