Located in Epsom near the heart of Auckland, New Zealand, Cornwall Park is an expansive 230-acre parkland surrounding Maungakiekie Pā (One Tree Hill). Together with the adjoining domain, it forms a massive 670-acre green space.

Gifted to the people of New Zealand in 1901 by former Auckland mayor Sir John Logan Campbell and named in honor of the Duke of Cornwall and York, the park offers a peaceful urban retreat filled with wide-open spaces, centuries-old heritage sites, and tree-lined avenues designed by Austin Strong. When you visit, you can explore an S-bend carriage drive marked by Campbell's original plantings, relax in places of tranquility, or utilize the sports grounds for tennis and lawn bowls.

Cornwall Park also functions as an educational working farm, housing sheep with seasonal lambs as well as a Simmental cattle stud with around 60 breeding cows. Whether you are walking along scenic paths, admiring the scenery, picnicking, birdwatching, or enjoying music from the rotunda when the band plays, this historic parkland provides a captivating mix of nature, farming, and local history.
