Discover the beating heart of Managua's cultural scene at the Rubén Darío National Theatre (Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío), the national theatre of Nicaragua. Built at a cost of two million dollars, it famously survived the devastating 1972 Managua earthquake with very little damage, standing today as one of the few major downtown structures to endure the disaster.
