Spanning 391.65 meters long and 26.3 meters wide with six lanes of traffic, this key infrastructure element crosses directly over Tudor Creek, a picturesque tidal inlet located to the north-east of the island.

When you visit, you are experiencing one of only three major road links leading out of Mombasa Island—alongside the Kipevu and Makupa Causeways—making it a crucial connection point for your regional journeys. Engineering enthusiasts will appreciate its design: completed in 1980, the structure features a 330-meter prestressed continuous box girder resting on a piled foundation, plus a 61.65-meter approach bridge.

While you take in the views of Tudor Creek, keep in mind the area's history; the original Old Nyali floating bridge, commissioned in 1931 by Governor Joseph Byrne, once floated roughly 800 meters downstream. Today, you can observe a modern vital passage that underwent significant structural repairs and strengthening in 2005.
