SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, offers an incredible sports and entertainment experience right in the heart of the Hollywood Park complex near Los Angeles. Opened in September 2020, this multi-purpose indoor-outdoor venue serves as the shared home for both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, making it the first stadium complex outside the New York area to host two NFL teams concurrently. Designed by HKS on the former site of the iconic Hollywood Park Racetrack, this impressive venue seats 70,240 spectators for standard events and can expand to hold over 100,000 for major global spectacles.
As you step inside, you will notice the remarkable open-air feel beneath a massive, independently supported translucent roof canopy made of 302 ETFE panels. Suspended above the field hangs the double-sided 4K HDR Infinity Screen by Samsung, an engineering marvel weighing 2.2 million pounds that houses 80 million pixels and a 260-speaker JBL audio system. Because the venue hosts two gridiron football teams, it features artificial turf rather than natural grass.
Beyond hosting exciting NFL action, the venue has welcomed Super Bowl LVI, major championship games, and concerts at the attached 6,000-seat YouTube Theater.
