Located on the west side of San Antonio, Texas, in the Westover Hills District, SeaWorld San Antonio is the largest marine-life theme park in North America. Spanning 416 acres, it is operated by United Parks & Resorts and initially opened on May 27, 1988, welcoming 75,000 visitors on its opening day. The park features thrilling rides alongside naturalistic animal habitats and presentations. You can explore designated zones such as Beluga Bay, Discovery Point, Shamu Theater, and the child-friendly SeaWorld Rescue Jr. area. For animal lovers, the park showcases orcas, Pacific white-sided dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, sea lions, seals, otters, and a Falkland Islands-themed penguin habitat housing around 250 penguins across four species.
