Originally established in 1886 as Lake Park on the Great Salt Lake, the resort relocated inland to Farmington in 1896 under railroad owner Simon Bamberger. Today, this historic, family-owned park is operated by the Freed family's Lagoon Corporation, which acquired full ownership of the property in 1983.
Spanning a landscape that expanded from its original 40-acre grounds, Lagoon is organized into distinct themed areas.
