Dubailand was announced in 2003 as an ambitious $64.3 billion entertainment complex in Dubai, UAE, spanning 278 square kilometers across six distinct zones: Attractions and Experience World, Sports and Outdoor World, Eco-Tourism World, Themed Leisure and Vacation World, Retail and Entertainment World, and Downtown. Though the original master plan faced holds and cancellations after the 2008 financial crisis, Dubailand has evolved into an active entertainment district featuring a variety of open attractions alongside ongoing developments planned through 2025.
