Welcome to Graham Oaks Nature Park, a scenic 250-acre nature park in Wilsonville, Oregon, within the Portland metropolitan area. Owned and operated by Metro, this site was transformed from a former farm into a thriving natural escape that officially opened in 2010. Visiting Graham Oaks gives you the chance to explore six distinct habitats across the grounds, including oak savanna, oak woodland, wetlands, and a conifer forest.
Thousands of native shrubs, trees, wildflowers, and grasses were planted during its restoration, creating a vibrant sanctuary for outdoor enthusiasts. As you explore the park, you will find 3 miles of trails, including Coyote Way, Legacy Creek, Arrowhead, Greenway, Oak Woodland Walk, and a section of the paved Tonquin Trail. You can discover five distinct plazas, informative signs provided by the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, scenic overlooks, and a stone acorn sculpture by Mauricio Saldana.
The park also showcases sustainable, environmentally friendly amenities like a restroom equipped with solar panels, a picnic shelter featuring a living green roof, bioswales, LED lighting, and pervious pavement, making it a wonderful stop to appreciate regional nature and eco-focused design.
