Nestled within Jackson, Mississippi's historic 110-acre Livingston Park, the Jackson Zoo offers you a chance to observe wildlife from around the world and region. Established in 1919, it is the second largest zoo in the state, exhibiting roughly 250 individual animals across more than 120 species. Children and families can also take a spin on the uniquely designed Endangered Species Carousel, featuring carved tigers, leopards, and giraffes. It remains a historic local attraction showcasing global and regional creatures.
