Home of: The Indianapolis Colts (AFC South)

Welcome to Lucas Oil Stadium, the home field of the Indianapolis Colts since opening on August 16, 2008. Designed by architectural firm HKS, this impressive venue replaced the RCA Dome and covers approximately 1.8 million square feet on the south side of South Street. As you approach, you will notice its exterior of reddish-brown brick trimmed with local Indiana limestone, styled similarly to nearby venues like Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Inside, the stadium features a 63,000 seating capacity, 139 suites, two club lounges, 360-degree ribbon boards, and two 53-foot tall HD video boards. The field utilizes Hellas Matrix Turf with geofill, making it the first indoor NFL venue to feature this surface. Experience the game-day atmosphere beneath a retractable roof made of two 2.5-million-pound panels that can open or close in about 11 minutes, or enjoy views of downtown Indianapolis through the retractable north window.
Conveniently connected to the Indiana Convention Center via an underground walkway, the stadium also hosts major events like the NFL Draft Combine, Big Ten Football Championship Game, concerts, and NCAA tournaments, offering an incredible environment for sports fans visiting the heart of Indiana.
