Step into living history at the Treasures in the Walls Museum, an engaging ethnographic museum situated inside the historic city of Acre, Israel. Originally constructed by the Ottoman ruler Jazzar Pasha following Napoleon's failed attempt to conquer the city in 1779, this imposing structure was first known as Burj Al-Commander and served as a military base for the Ottoman Empire. Inaugurated in 2007, the museum was established to conserve the remarkable collections of Dan Hortman and Michael Lurie, featuring an exhibit layout designed by Michal Mizrahi.

When you visit, you will discover a rich tapestry of life in Galilee during the 19th and 20th centuries.
