Located in Ottarathiri Township near the Kumudra circle, the National Museum of Myanmar in Naypyidaw offers you an expansive journey through the nation's rich history, art, and cultural heritage. As the second of Myanmar's two national museums, this modern facility spans across five wings on a 35.19-acre plot. Inside, you can explore a vast range of galleries showcasing world-renowned anthropoid primate fossils from the Pondaung formation, Stone Age tools, and illuminated miniature replicas of the Padah-Lin Caves.

Walk through displays celebrating UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pyu city states like Halin, Beikthano, and Sri Ksetra, or admire detailed recreations of historic Bagan architecture. The impressive Lion Throne Exhibition Room features a full-scale replica of the Burmese royal throne alongside regalia.
