Opened in 2002 as the first NFL facility with a retractable roof, Reliant Stadium (historically known also as NRG Stadium) is the multi-purpose home of the Houston Texans and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Located within the Reliant Park complex alongside the Astrodome, this 72,220-capacity venue boasts an intimate feel with open-air transparency, featuring expansive glass concourses that glow at night. The impressive kinetic fabric roof can open or close in just seven minutes across its ten parallel trusses.

Inside, fans experience massive video screens spanning 14,549 square feet, over 7,000 club seats, 186 luxury suites, and multiple lounges. Game-day atmosphere reaches its peak behind the north end zone in the designated "Bull Pen" fan section, where passionate supporters stand, chant, and drive traditions throughout the matchup. Beyond NFL action, the stadium has hosted iconic events like Super Bowl XXXVIII and Super Bowl LI, college football national championships, high-profile concerts, international soccer matches, and the annual three-week rodeo each March.

Whether visiting during the NFL season or a major event, this landmark Houston venue delivers a comfortable, energetic spectator environment powered by cutting-edge architecture and dedicated Texas football culture.
