You will discover the fascinating legacy of legendary martial artist Wong Fei-hung at the Foshan Wong Fei-hung Memorial Hall. Located on Xinwen Street, Zumiao Road in the Chancheng District of Foshan City, Guangdong, this dedicated museum sits just north of the famous Foshan Ancestral Temple. Covering an area of more than 5,000 square metres (54,000 square feet), the complex was officially opened following its completion ceremony on January 14, 2001.
As you explore the grounds, you can admire its beautiful architecture built in an imitation Qing Dynasty (1644–1911) style. The memorial hall features an array of spaces designed to immerse you in traditional Chinese culture, including a main exhibition hall, an auditorium, a dedicated martial arts hall, and open-air martial arts courtyards.
