Located at the northern foot of Yunlong Mountain on the historical site of the Qianlong Emperor's Palace, the Xuzhou Museum offers you an incredible journey through 6,000 years of Chinese civilization. Originally founded in 1959 and expanded into a spacious 40,000-square-meter complex, this comprehensive museum showcases a breathtaking collection of 15,577 historical objects across a four-story exhibition building and seven specialized galleries. As you explore, you will discover fascinating Neolithic artifacts, ancient Ming artillery, and military gear ranging from Han armor to Tang, Song, and Yuan weapons.

The museum administers remarkable historical grounds, including the 1757 Xanadu Palace and Stone Tablet Garden built for Emperor Qianlong's southern inspection tour, as well as three Eastern Han dynasty tombs at Tushan featuring an excavation site of terracotta warriors and horses. Highlights of your visit include the stunning jade burial suits and ornate funerary artifacts recovered from the royal Han dynasty tombs of the Kings of Chu and Pengcheng. You can also admire exquisite galleries dedicated to marvelous Han jade, ornate terracotta figurines, Chinese porcelain, Qing-style furniture, and donated ancient painting and calligraphy.

It is a must-visit destination to experience China's deep regional heritage.
