ZooMontana 🇺🇸

Located in Billings, ZooMontana is Montana's only zoo and botanical park, offering you a unique 70-acre refuge set along the tranquil Canyon Creek. Home to nearly 100 animals across 58 species, this non-profit facility primarily focuses on wildlife native to Montana, the Rocky Mountains, and cold temperature regions above the 45th parallel. As you explore, you will discover animal habitats meticulously designed to imitate natural environments.

You can wander through the North America Region to view grizzly bears, wolves, river otters, and American bison, or take a paved path through a serene cottonwood forest in the Asia Region to catch sight of Siberian tigers and red pandas. Indoors at the Discovery Center, the Living Wall exhibits showcase global creatures ranging from chinchillas to Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Beyond wildlife, you will find rich botanical displays, including the Yellowstone Arboretum, a dedicated native Montana garden, and the popular 1-acre Sensory Garden.
