Set within the Casa de Campo in Madrid, Spain, Parque de Atracciones de Madrid is a historic 20-hectare (49-acre) destination. First opened in 1969 by Carlos Arias Navarro, it stands as the third-oldest operating amusement park in Spain. Today, it serves as the flagship park of Parques Reunidos, which operates the destination under a Madrid municipal government concession valid until 2039. Since 2008, the venue employs over 350 staff members and welcomes approximately 2.2 million visitors every year across its collection of 39 attractions.
The park's layout is divided into four distinct themed zones designed to cater to different tastes and age groups. Adrenaline seekers head straight for Maquinismo, where extreme thrill rides and intense coasters dominate. Naturaleza offers a lush green setting packed with family coasters and refreshing water rides, while Tranquilidad provides a peaceful atmosphere focused on lighter family options and relaxation. For younger visitors, Nickelodeon Land presents a vibrant space dedicated to popular children's characters and gentle family experiences.
