Located in Wavre in Walloon Brabant, Wallonia, Walibi Belgium sits across 64 hectares (160 acres) close to the city of Brussels, making it one of the largest theme parks in Belgium. First opened on July 26, 1975, by Belgian entrepreneur Eddy Meeùs, the park's name is a playful blend of three local districts: Wavre, Limal, and Bierges. Today, the destination is operated by Compagnie des Alpes and draws roughly 1.45 million visitors a year to its expansive grounds.

Across its 160-acre footprint, you will discover a park with a rich history, including a brief period operating under the Six Flags brand in the early 2000s. The site offers a varied layout that includes themed lands like Lucky Luke City, family areas, and dark rides, alongside the standalone Aqualibi indoor water park located right next door, which underwent an €11 million refurbishment to offer year-round aquatic fun alongside the main amusement park.

Walibi Belgium easily suits thrill-seekers, kids, and families planning regional day trips or multi-day Belgian vacations. You can brave high-adrenaline attractions like the record-setting Dalton Terror drop tower, enjoy immersive 4D cinema experiences, or catch signature seasonal events. The destination is especially famous for its late-night summer openings featuring fireworks over the central lake and its massive autumn Halloween celebrations, which feature immersive scare zones and haunted houses.
