Known for its inclusive social perspective, the church supports full ordination regardless of sexual orientation through its affiliation with The Covenant Network of Presbyterians and regularly sponsors local Pridefest events.

This initiative made it one of the few churches nationwide to produce solar energy and home to Leon County's second-largest array as of 2010.
