Located in El Paso, Texas, the 35-acre El Paso Zoo is home to over 200 species, including critically endangered animals, making it a compelling spot for nature lovers. You can explore four distinct regional sections, each highlighting diverse global wildlife. Head to the Animals of Africa section to see iconic species like African lions, giraffes, zebras, meerkats, Red River hogs, and eight types of antelope, including topi antelopes and Thomson's gazelles.
In the Animals of Asia section, you will encounter Malayan tigers, Sumatran orangutans, Siamang gibbons, Malayan sun bears, and an Indian rhinoceros. Step inside the Asian Forest Complex to view small mammals like Prevost's squirrels and slow lorises, alongside colourful birds, a Burmese python, and goldfish.
