Perched on Seraglio Point overlooking the Golden Horn, Bosphorus Strait, and Sea of Marmara, Topkapı Palace invites you to explore centuries of Ottoman imperial power. Serving as the primary residence of sultans and the empire's administrative hub from the 1460s until 1853, this sprawling museum complex forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Istanbul. When you visit, you will encounter a unique, asymmetric layout crafted across four main courtyards, surrounded by high defensive walls and quiet gardens like nearby Gülhane Park.

Inside, you can discover the secluded Imperial Harem, a massive quarter featuring over 400 rooms where the sultan's family once resided. Marvel at priceless treasures inside the hazine, including the iconic Spoonmaker's Diamond and the ornate Topkapi Dagger. As you wander through the historic halls, you will view extensive collections of Ottoman weaponry, royal armor, imperial clothing, religious relics, and illuminated manuscripts.

Do not miss the towering Imperial Gate with its gilded calligraphy, the twin-towered Gate of Salutation, or the ancient Byzantine church of Hagia Irene preserved within the first courtyard. It offers an incredible window into royal court life, imperial privacy, and magnificent craftsmanship.
