Located close to the banks of the River Ness in Inverness, Scotland, Eden Court Theatre (Scottish Gaelic: Cùirt an Easbaig) offers you a vibrant arts experience as the largest combined arts centre in Scotland. Formally opened in 1976 and completely refurbished in 2007, this venue uniquely incorporates the historic Gothic Bishop's Palace residence into its modern complex.

When you visit, you can enjoy live performances across two auditoriums: the main 840-seat Empire Theatre and the intimate 270-seat OneTouch Theatre. Movie lovers can catch screenings in two dedicated cinemas, La Scala and The Playhouse, which regularly host independent films, foreign language cinema, and Scottish premieres during the annual Inverness Film Festival.

Beyond its stages and screens, you can check out two performance and dance studios, including the Jim Love Studio, or relax in the completely overhauled restaurant and bar facilities. From its historic roots to its award-winning facilities—including a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Community Benefit award and a Scots Trad Music Award for Venue of the Year—Eden Court provides an inviting destination to experience top-tier theater, dance, film, and dining along the riverbank.
