As the only memorial dedicated to Anne Frank in the United States, it is jointly maintained by the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights and the Boise Department of Parks and Recreation. Designed by architect Kurt Karst and recognized by the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, the park provides a contemplative space that also serves as a gathering site for community rallies and local police training.
