Christian Shenzhen Church

While an earlier 1898 church once stood in the Luohu District, history took a turn during the Cultural Revolution in 1966 when the venue was repurposed for government offices and forced to halt activities.

Religious services officially resumed in 1984, and by July 1999, groundbreaking began on a modern facility in Meilin Huaguo Hill. Completed in 2000 and opened in December 2001, this striking building stands 28 meters (92 feet) tall and spans 8,265 square meters (2.042 acres). funded largely by local believers who raised over ninety percent of its 30 million yuan construction cost. When you visit today, you can explore this vibrant space of fellowship, discover its impressive grounds, or attend one of its weekly gatherings.

It serves as an active community hub featuring weekday evening meetings and classes for new believers leading up to baptism.
