Why Fiserv Forum
Fiserv Forum is a multi-purpose indoor arena situated in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Serving as the home court for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association and the Marquette University Golden Eagles men's basketball team, the facility forms the centerpiece of the surrounding 30-acre development area known as the Deer District.
Located primarily between 4th and 6th Streets from State Street to McKinley Avenue, the venue links directly with nearby city districts and landmarks, including the Milwaukee riverfront, Water Street, Old World Third Street, Schlitz Park, The Brewery, and the Wisconsin Center. The structure's architecture features a transparent facade alongside a swept roof and side profile designed to mirror the natural water forms of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River.
Inside, Fiserv Forum features extensive club seating, luxury suites, and a regulation ice surface suitable for hockey games and ice shows. The arena holds 17,385 guests for basketball, 15,178 for ice hockey or indoor football, and up to 18,000 for concerts, and featured the largest center-hung scoreboard in the NBA at the time of its opening. Outside, a public plaza along Herb Kohl Way offers dining establishments, a year-round beer garden equipped with a large outdoor broadcast screen, and an interactive sculpture that illuminates in green after Bucks victories.
Construction on the facility began in 2016 to replace the neighboring BMO Harris Bradley Center, and the venue officially opened in August 2018 following a 25-year naming rights agreement with technology firm Fiserv. Since its inauguration, the complex has hosted a variety of events beyond professional and collegiate basketball, including live concerts, the Harlem Globetrotters' traditional New Year's Eve games, college hockey tournaments, NHL preseason match-ups, and major political conventions.
