Located in the center of Curitiba, the capital of Paraná, the Holocaust Museum in Curitiba (Museu do Holocausto de Curitiba) is the very first museum dedicated to this theme in Brazil. If you want to understand the profound impact and consequences of the Holocaust on the Jewish People, this space keeps history alive by focusing directly on the memory of its victims and survivors. Conceived by Miguel Krigsner in partnership with Base7 Projetos Culturais and built by the Associação Casa de Cultura Beit Yaacov, the 400-square-meter museum sits next to the Centro Israelita do Paraná within the new Beit Yaacov synagogue building.
