Jingu Bashi 🇯🇵

Welcome to Jingūbashi, also known as Shrine Bridge, Harajuku Bridge, or the Harajuku Cosplay Bridge. Located in Tokyo, Japan, this 20.4-meter-long and 29.1-meter-wide reinforced concrete bridge passes over the Yamanote Line, spanning the space between Harajuku Station and the entrance to the historic Meiji Shrine. Built in 1982 to replace a historic September 1920 structure—which was among Japan's first reinforced concrete bridges—the current crossing thoughtfully preserves elements of the original design, including its classic ornamental railing pillars.
