Located in the Xuanwu District of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China, the Jizhaoying Mosque offers a captivating look at local Islamic heritage. If you are exploring the region, a visit here allows you to appreciate a site with a rich architectural history. The prayer hall was originally rebuilt in 1912, and the modern complex you see today underwent significant renovation in 1987, funded by the Urban Islamic Association in Nanjing.

Designed by architect Ma Xiaodong, the current four-story structure covers an area of 815.1 square meters (8,774 square feet) and serves as an important community hub. As you tour the four-floor layout, you can see a variety of functional spaces designed to support both spiritual practices and daily administration. What to see within the complex includes the main prayer hall and dedicated areas for ritual purification, such as the wudu and shower room.

The facility also houses a guardroom, kitchen, meeting hall, restroom, reception room, meeting room, administration office, and the imam's office.
