Located in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the Landestheater Tübingen—commonly known as the LTT or officially as Landestheater Württemberg-Hohenzollern Tübingen Reutlingen—is a vibrant cultural enterprise funded by public funds, donations, and entrance fees. Born out of a postwar free play group in 1945 and officially established as the current state theater in 1950, it moved into its unique current headquarters—a former vacant chair factory—in the late 1970s.

When you visit, you will experience a diverse cultural destination that puts on mainly its own original productions while also hosting guest performances, including foreign-language plays. The theater features an "evening game plan" alongside its dedicated children's and youth theater division, the Junge LTT, which was founded in 1984.

Beyond its main stage performances in its historic venue, the LTT is an active regional performer, taking over a quarter of its more than 900 annual performances outside the traditional theater walls to large and small stages, classrooms, and kindergartens. It offers travelers an authentic slice of regional German theatrical history and engaging creative performances.
