Monterrey Cathedral 🇲🇽

When you visit the capital of Nuevo León, Mexico, make sure to experience the Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of Monterrey. Also known simply as Monterrey Cathedral, this historic building serves as the main Catholic church and the home of the Archdiocese of Monterrey. Construction took place between 1705 and 1791, and Pope Pius VI officially declared it a cathedral in 1777 upon creating the Diocese of Linares.
