When you visit Kunming, China, the Yunnan Provincial Museum offers you a deep look into the region's rich cultural heritage. Established in 1951, this comprehensive institution provides a fascinating journey through local history. While the original museum stood on Wuyi Road in the Wuhua District, you can now experience the updated space on Guangfu Road in the Guandu District, which officially opened its doors on May 18, 2015. It is an essential stop to understand Yunnan's multifaceted past.
