Immerse yourself in Southern Nevada's rich past at the Clark County Museum, a premier regional history institution located in Henderson on a thirty-acre campus. Operated by the Clark County Parks and Recreation Department, this site captures the cultural, social, and industrial evolution of the Las Vegas Valley. You will begin your journey inside the Anna Roberts Parks Exhibit Hall, where chronological displays chart local history using artifacts ranging from prehistoric tools to early slot machines.

Learn about Native American cultures, regional mining, Hoover Dam construction, Henderson's industrial roots, and the rise of Las Vegas gaming through dioramas and interactive stations. Stepping outside, you can walk along Heritage Street, a unique collection of restored, period-furnished buildings relocated from across Southern Nevada that date from the early 20th century to mid-century suburban eras. You will also discover the restored Boulder City railroad depot, vintage railcars, locomotives, ghost town structures, mining equipment, and interpretive trails.

Originally founded in 1968 from the vast collection of local mortician Anna Roberts Parks, the museum preserves the region's diverse heritage while offering educational programming, lectures, and temporary exhibitions. It is an engaging stop to explore the authentic history beyond the Strip.
