Brindavan Gardens 🇮🇳

When you visit the famous Brindavan Gardens, located just 12 kilometers from Mysore in Karnataka's Mandya District, you will experience one of Srirangapatna's grandest attractions. Laid out between 1927 and 1932 by Deewan Sir Mirza Ismail and designed by German botanist Gustav Hermann Krumbiegel, this public garden adjoins the historic Krishnarajasagara Dam on the Kaveri River. Spanning 60 acres across three lovely terraces, the site welcomes nearly two million visitors each year to marvel at its lush, meticulously planned landscapes.

As you stroll through the grounds, you can admire beautiful topiary sculptures of animals, elegant gazebos, and shaded pergolas draped in creepers. The terraces display a rich variety of plant life, including majestic Ficus trees, vibrant flowering plants like Celosia, Marigold, and bougainvillea, alongside foliage such as Duranta plumaria and Euphorbia. Adjoining the main property are two horticultural farms, Nagavana and Chandravana, as well as an expansive 75-acre fruit orchard.

For entertainment, you can enjoy boating facilities on the garden's tranquil inner lake. Don't miss the park's absolute main attraction: a spectacular digitized musical fountain where dynamic bursts of water dance in synchronicity to popular songs.
