Located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, South Korea, the Islamic Center of Daejeon (ICD), also known as Daejeon Mosque, was originally established in December 2006. Positioned right in the midst of a academic triangle between the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Chungnam National University, and the Information and Communication University, this vibrant spiritual hub serves local residents and international visitors alike. When you visit this converted multi-story residential building, you will discover a welcoming venue secured as a permanent mosque for the city's Muslim community.

Inside, the center features space dedicated to congregational worship overseen by a full-time imam, along with a special dedicated room for women on the second floor. Beyond its primary prayer spaces, the facility hosts an array of community-focused activities ranging from daily and Juma prayers to weekend dars, Arabic lessons, an Islamic school for children, and a library. Visitors can also experience a supportive environment that provides counseling, educational resources to better understand Islam, and the community provision of Halal food and meat services.

It offers a unique window into the diverse spiritual life flourishing within Daejeon's major university district.
