Located in the New Julfa district of Isfahan, Iran, Holy Savior Cathedral—commonly called Vank Cathedral—offers you a captivating look into Armenian Apostolic history and heritage. Established in 1606 by Armenians resettled by Shah Abbas the Great, the cathedral presents a striking contrast: a remarkably plain, modern brick exterior paired with an elaborately decorated, breathtaking interior.
