Welcome to Atatürk's House Museum in Antalya, Turkey, a dedicated national museum honoring the visits of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. When you step inside this two-storey replica house, you are visiting the exact location of the original mansion belonging to the provincial governorship where Atatürk stayed during his official trips in 1930 and 1935. Although the building was broken down for a city street widening project, it was rebuilt at the same location with local electricity distribution company support and opened in 1986.
As you explore the first floor, you will find newspapers, photos, and documents relating to Atatürk's visits from March 6–10, 1930 and February 18–19, 1935. Upstairs on the second floor, you can view two working rooms, a bedroom, and a section displaying banknotes, coins, commemorative coins, and postage stamps issued since the proclamation of the Republic. The most important part of the museum is the room featuring personal belongings of Atatürk, which were brought from Anıtkabir, his mausoleum in Ankara.
