Fatima Jinnah Park, also known as Capital Park or F-9 Park, is a vast 304-hectare (750-acre) public recreational space spanning Sector F-9 in Islamabad, Pakistan. Designed by Michael Japero and inaugurated in 1992, the park is managed by the Capital Development Authority and named after Mādar-e Millat Fatima Jinnah. When you visit, you will find that most of this expansive park functions as a natural wildlife sanctuary covered in greenery, lined with neat grass, statues, and a network of footpaths and jogging tracks.
While largely preserved as open space, the park features several key attractions and facilities. You can explore the Megazone Entertainment Hub, which offers arcade games, a swimming pool, bowling, a gym, and fast food. Dining options inside include Kapacious for indoor glass dining and foreign cuisines, and The Salt Line for traditional Pakistani flavors.
The park is powered by a 5-acre Chinese-granted solar plant, monitored by over 200 police safety cameras, and bounded by a steel fence with distinct main gates like Mehran, Bolan, Khyber, and Ravi Gate, each equipped with parking, public toilets, and a mosque.
